With a long extensive history, DVF has been thriving in the style business for over four decades.

Although DVF resigned the reins of her company to a new Chief Design Officer and CEO, the woman shows no sign of slowing down in the fashion industry. Furstenberg recently hosted International Women's Day and staged her last DVF Awards, where she honored many style influencers.

According to Teen Vogue, Diane Von Furstenberg is a mentor to many young women. Her collaboration with MasterClass allows her to share her wisdom and experiences, while teaching creative fashion-obsessed women how to create a brand.

As DVF begins to move onto the next chapter of her life, she expresses that her role now is to help women be who they want to be. Furstenberg has expressed to Teen Vogue that she has always been an advocate for women empowerment, but has never seen a movement supporting females like the ones happening today.

When the platform is given to these women, they should be taken advantage of. Women need to use their voices to take a stand for those who do not have the opportunities to be heard.
