A True Fashion Icon

When trying to decide how to start off my blog, I thought a post about VB would probably make the most sense. As E! People's Choice Awards' first ever fashion icon winner, Victoria Beckham truly embodies the every aspect of the Girls4Girls brand that I've envisioned.

She is an ambitious, passionate designer who has aspired to make women feel as comfortable and confident as possible in their clothing. Her motto is simple, anything she creates, she would wear herself. In her speech after accepting her award at the E! People's Choice Awards, she expressed to the world that she is a true advocate for Girl Power and the empowerment of women through fashion. The Fashion Icon award winner emphasized the idea that women are able to accomplish anything, especially if they really really want it.

Get Inspired

Victoria is a true inspiration, so let yourself get inspired. She considers herself a 'minimalist', with a style that proves creating a good wardrobe does not have to be complicated. "Clothes have to be simple and comfortable," she states, firmly believing that fashion should be an easy way of life. Being a woman in today's world can get hectic and extremely stressful. The constant pressure to keep up with others in the media can become overwhelming, so staying true to who you are is the most important thing.
