Glossier is a brand that has been gaining popularity fast.


Starting as just a beauty blog, the brand has grown to 1.5 million views monthly while easing their way into the product market.


The brand put emphasis on skin care first and makeup second. They believe in inspiring the wearer and making women feel beautiful.



When realizing the flaws in the beauty and makeup industries, creator and CEO Emily Weiss, wanted to come up with a solution that would inspire women to be the best version of themselves.


"It has historically been an industry based on experts telling you, the customer, what you should or shouldn’t be using on your face," she says.



Glossier is a brand that is very personal which each its customers. With many of the team starting out as customers themselves, the Glossier team knows well what the followers want and need.


The brand has been known for using diverse women in their campaigns, with dewy skin and minimal makeup. With a target market of young millennials, the brand does a good job in creating a community of women who are able to have their voices heard.


Glossier encourages feedback from its customers and really focuses on the relationships being built with these women.
